This year, the celebration’s theme is “The Battle is in Our Hands…We Must Keep Going…The End we seek is a society at peace with itself, One that can live with its Conscience.”Performers and keynote speaker will be announced here soon.

If no room is left at the Armory, people can head to the overflow venue at OSF’s Carpenter Hall for a livestream of events. Start time is the same.

​After the celebration, in keeping with time-tradition, there will be a march from the Armory to the downtown Plaza to hear Dr. King’s original “I have a Dream” speech.
